SECOND FEATURED ARTIST

WONG SZE CHIT

Wong Sze Chit (黃思哲) was born in 1985. He graduated from CO1 School of Visual Arts. He is a Hong Kong based artist and co-founder of an independent publisher "pressamuse." After staying in Europe for two years, Wong came back with his illustration works published in various media, including: the novels 《自圓記》, Ishoku Orange and Nighttime Walks. He also drew illustrations for the menu of Kubrick Café+ as well as poster for a local independent music show.

In 2013, his illustration book stone in mist was selected as the permanent collection of Takarazuka Media Library. Natural elements, like mist, stones, plants, water and sun, can be seen often in Wong's drawings. By re-presenting these elements with deliberate editing in drawing, Wong keeps questioning and exploring his own consciousness through forms of nature.
