DEBE SHAM was born in 1988 in Hong Kong. She works in different forms of art, namely, video, photography, printmaking, painting and glass making. She obtained a Master Degree of Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University in 2013. From her previous studies through her present endeavours, Debe engages in shaping metal structures, hoping the audience will be taken aback with a new understanding of form and relation. Currently, she is based in a studio in Fotan as a part-time artist: with a focus on re-modelling found objects into new sculptural forms to draw people’s attention to the intricacies of relating to one another.
